Position will be responsible for using distribution and transportation systems to complete the job. Data entry experience will also be required with a need to be detail oriented. There is a need to have a high level of ownership toward all aspects of the job functions. Must have the ability to work with little direction, asking for clarification on assignments when needed. This position reports to the Plant Manager and will assume full responsibility for production operations, including measuring and controlling efficiencies and product deficiencies. The Production Manager is responsible for monitoring, supporting, and guiding the production function through the production supervisors. Major responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Directing and coordinating activities of multiple departments, through subordinate supervisors. • Communicating with Plant Manager and supervisors to ensure smooth transition of each shift. • Evaluate equipment, processes, and employees as necessary to ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met. A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related technical field along with five or more years of production supervision in the baking industry is strongly preferred.
